TLDR : Answer Summary
When planning to enter Thailand using the visa exemption, Filipinos should be prepared for common questions that may arise during immigration checks. Key points to focus on include having proof of financial means (approximately 20,000 baht or an equivalent currency), evidence of onward travel within 30 days, and confirmation of hotel bookings. Regarding flight tickets, it's advisable to purchase a ticket covering the duration of your stay, but it's not necessary to buy a ticket for the entire 30 days upfront.
they CAN ask you for proof of funds 20K baht (or the equivalent) in cash, proof of onward travel in 30 days AND proof of a hotel booking if they want to.
, it is written in the rules as 10K baht when you enter on a 30 day visa exempt entry or a 15 day visa on arrival BUT when officers have been asking people who are entering on 30 day visa exempt entries to show proof of funds they are asking for 20K baht :( . . .
