Hi guys

I've made a 1 year ED Visa (4 times 3 months) + 1 month of visa from when i arrived at the airport (13 months so), for some reason i would like to stay 1 month more since i have some things to do here, is there any solution ? Because my school told me the ED visa is for 1 year only

I was in a similar situation. Visa Exemption + Extension, 12 months ED Visa, wanted to take a study break before going for more thai classes. crossed the border and could get in straight on a 30 Visa Exemption. Got asked a lot of questions though, since they are careful with people on ED Visas because of the illegal work situation.

maybe if you have a document that confirmes that you are enrolled in a course and even better if it would say that your studies arent finished yet its gonna be easy (i had a paper that confirmed that my classes were finished one week after my visa expired) but even if bot you will be fine i think, its your first entry on visa exemption for this year!

Thank you much for confirming me that it's possible :) since i study maths in parrallel of thai courses and my dad lives here i wanted to stay 1 month more so i will have enough time to finish my math courses so when i go back to France i can focus on my work

If the school said you can't get another extension on the ED visa you hold now, I think you'd have to exit the country and re-enter to get a 30 day visa exempt entry.

nope, it won't matter at all because you were here on an ED visa and extensions.

, you can exit/re-enter the country by land and get a 30 day visa exempt entry TWO times in a calendar year or you can do it by air without a limit to how many times a year.
