I'm a mod in another group that asks questions of new members. I would say that around 90% just ignore it, which is a bit weird as the questions pop up once you request to join.

I honestly don't know what it is. I have this post PINNED to the top of the group, and people who aren't members can see it because it's a public group yet I just had almost 40 people request to join but not answer the questions :/ I just deleted their requests. :(
