TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking job advice and remote work opportunities in Bangkok, particularly in music production and related fields, while also highlighting the urgent need for a work permit. The comments clarify that an Ed visa does not permit work and that options for working legally include either a Non-Immigrant B visa, which requires employment sponsorship by a company, or a Non-O visa based on marriage or volunteering. Additionally, learning Thai may improve job prospects.

If you learn Thai your chances of getting hired go up. It’s hard here but worth it.

You cant work or hold a valid work permit on an ED visa. You need a Non Imm B visa or an O visa based on either marriage, guardian or volunteering.

yes but there are hoops to jump through. You must be sponsored by a company, or you can setup your own company but must employ 4 Thais for every 1 work permit, pay tax and so on

with a company with an entity in Thailand who will then help you through the process as they need to cut down several trees to give you all the paperwork required

You can't work or obtain a work permit on an Ed visa, only a business or marriage visa (or a ligit volunteering organization). For a business visa you'd need to have a job and be sponsored by a company.

You can go to school on a tourist visa if you want.

you can study Thai, for example, whilst on a work permit but you can't work on a non-ED visa
