TLDR : Answer Summary
The T8 form is a travel declaration required for entering Thailand, which can be downloaded online. It's advised to fill it out before boarding the flight to Bangkok as it will be checked upon arrival. Other related requirements discussed include filling out medical insurance details and the need for a Thai declaration form. Travelers are encouraged to prepare these documents in advance to ensure a smooth entry process.
wait another 2 weeks and they’ll be up to 10-20,000 new cases a day. I’m sure you will see strict lockdown rules in time to curb what is set to be the worst wave yet. Genuinely think restrictions will be in place for 2-3 months minimum
100% I’d rather be there than the U.K. other than if I got poorly but obviously I wouldn’t plan for that to happen 😂.
It would be so interesting to see what sort of numbers Thailand would have if they had tested the same amount of people as the UK. Up to 9th April I think Thailand had tested 3 million people in total, Uk had tested 131 million
and most people I know who tested postive , including family members didn't get that sick. Didn't even need medical intervention. Just rest, paracetamol and fluids. 🤷♀️
I reckon many people have had Covid and didn't even notice
I think that is down to the climate and a Thai’s immune system don’t you think? Think Asian countries have a big advantage on western countries. When you planning on coming back to the U.K. or are you not? What visa are you on if you don’t mind me asking?
there alot more than they say you think people in rural areas in Thailand could afford go hospital...good luck with that....my personal opinion yes I enjoy3going Thailand but it's not end of the world if you cant go ...
True, but I'm curious what the government will do after Songkran. I betcha they'll lock down starting next Monday. Songkran ends on Friday (which everyone will take the day off), and return to their place of work on Saturday and Sunday. On Monday, I expect to hear a lot of restrictions in place.
we'll have to wait and see but I very much doubt it will be only for 2 weeks considering it will take nearly 2 weeks to get a better idea as to how much Songkran caused it to spread.
I can't really recommend a place... I did it the MOHW Taipei Hospital (in New taipei).. No appointment necessary, download the form from their website and bring them tk the ER. Do it in the morning, get results by 9pm if express service. Had to wait about an hour to get the test.
no sorry that is thai declaration. The t8 is in the format that you used to get on the airplane. You will need the declaration too. On thai embassy website it's listed as T8
