What is the maximum stay duration I can achieve with my METV visa in Thailand before February 16, 2025?

ORIGINAL POSTER
Hello, I entered Thailand on 6 September 2024 with French passport on a METV 6 month visa valid from 21 august 2024 - 16 February 2025. I did one 30 day visa extension just before the first 60 day deadline and then left the country twice on holiday. My latest entry stamp received at BKK airport now shows "admitted 13 January 2025 until 13 march 2025."

Should I want to stay the maximum amount of time that I can get out of this 6 month visa, must I leave the country before 16 February as shown on original visa or can I leave just prior to the latest stamp showing "until 13 march" giving me 60 more days? Could I also ask for 30 day extension just before the 13 march?

Thank you to clarify this for me.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To maximize your stay with your METV visa, you should re-enter Thailand before February 16, 2025, to receive a new 60-day stamp. Following that, you can request a 30-day extension, extending your stay to approximately mid-May. If you only apply for an extension on your current stamp valid until March 13, it will limit your stay to mid-April.

IF you wanna wring all the time you can get out of this visa, you bounce out/back one last time just before Feb 16th like Ellie said.

That gives you a new 60 day stamp and then you take the ONE 30 day extension on that you're allowed that will get you to the middle of May

Where as

IF you just took the 30 day extension on the current Mar 13th stamp that will only get you until the middle of April

You must enter on or before 16 February 2025 if you want to enter/stay based on that valid METV. You will be stamped on visa-exempt entry after that date, as a French passport holder.

You can apply for a 30-day tourism extension to the current stamp on or before 13 March.
