Admins, I’m on a non-O based on retirement which is due for renewal 6 June. With CW being particularly quiet at minute, what’s the earliest I can go for renewal? Thanks in advance

You can apply for the renewal of your Non-O visa 45 days before the expiration date. For your expiration on June 6, the earliest you could have applied was April 22. There is no penalty for early renewal, as the new expiration date will simply be one year from your current expiration.

The SOONEST you could have applied for a new yearly extension of stay was Wednesday the 22nd of April :O (yesterday)

That was 45 days before your current stamp expires and that's what C/W allows as far as how early you can do it.

You do NOT lose any time going early, they add the year to your current expiration date.

Remember though you need the funds seasoned the appropriate time on the day you APPLY not on the day your extension expires.
