I am planning to arrive in Thailand on the 11th of February 2024 for an 11-day visit. As a citizen of Malta, I would like to obtain a visa in advance before my arrival. Could you please recommend a legitimate and tried-and-tested website where I can apply for the visa?
Thanks in Advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Maltese citizen planning to visit Thailand for 11 days can apply for a visa prior to arrival through legitimate websites or directly contact the nearest Thai Embassy. While applying in advance is an option, it's suggested that they can also consider the visa on arrival, which typically grants 15 days of stay, or a 30-day visa available upon arrival for tourists. Agents are not necessary as the application process is straightforward.
trust me, I tried calling and sending emails to the local one(consulate) many times to no avail.

There's nothing an agent can help you with. It's not a complicated application and you don't even need to do it ahead of time if you don't want to. You can either apply for e-visa-on-arrival or you can wait until you arrive and apply for visa on arrival at the airport. Visa on arrival will give you 15 days in Thailand and is not eligible for an extension.
that's going to be based on how many people are arriving that also need to apply. But since both Chinese and Indians are temporarily being given visa exempt and were the biggest users of visa on arrival, I would imagine it shouldn't be a long wait.
