TLDR : Answer Summary
For long-term stays in Thailand, the Non-Immigrant ED visa is a viable option, allowing for a stay of 90 days and is extendable by attending language classes at a recognized institution. The visa initially requires enrollment with proof (documents from the school). While generally no financial proof is needed, it can vary by consulate. The METV (Multi-Entry Tourist Visa) is also suggested as it allows for up to 9 months of stay in increments, providing more time to transition into the ED visa.
As far as how an ED visa and the extensions work, for that you should get ahold of the school you're going to enroll in so they can go over the tuition, the minimum hours required to attend to get the visa and to get the 90 day extensions
I'm not getting mad in the least (it takes far more than visa questions to rile me up). I'm saying provide some information on where you are so we can tell you WHAT thai consulate's website to give you so you can get the information on the visas from them. Each thai consulate in the world has slightly different criteria for getting this or that visa. It's not gonna help to give you a website for a thai consulate in a country you're NOT in :/
How about stating what country you're comin' from and where you are in that country so people can refer you to the correct thai consulate?

As long as you're IN your country why not apply for a 6 month METV <- multi-entry tourist visa? That would give you almost 9 months of stay in country (in 60 day increments).
Look at the website of the thai consulate in your country for the information.
With that visa you'd have plenty of time to find a school and go the ED visa route.

no need to provide any proofs. But sometimes its also up to the policy of the consulate you will be submitting the documents from the school to.

The Single entry Non Immigrant ED visa is valid for 3 months and will give you 90 days of stay in Thailand. You need to attend classes etc and than with the documents of the school you can apply for an Extension of Stay.

You apply for a visa at a Thai consulate in neighbor countries in the morning of day 1 and you pick it up next working day in the afternoon.
cool will the country Thai embassy give me visa before I come back in or will there be a waiting time or is as straight forward as Thai embassy out side of Thailand stamping it then it's all done

You can get this visa at a Thai Consulate or Embassy, you need documents from the school to apply for it. If the school is willing to sent these to you, you can apply before you make your way into Thailand, if not you come in as a tourist, get the documents leave apply for the visa in neighbor country and come back again.
