Can someone recommend an insurance plan that would cover the cost of a quarantine if I'm found to have covid-19 after my PCR test at the airport? I just realized that if this were to happen it would cost a lot of money having to pay for a hotel

Most insurance companies know the Thai Hospitel Scam and refuse to fork over 6,000$ for “treatment” for an omicron cold with no symptoms. Makes sense. The insurance companies are absolutely right.

You'll need to find a global insurance or one from your own country as all the Thai insurance can no longer cover asymptomatic isolation since the law changed in February

yes because the Thai insurance companies know it’s a scam and they are right to refuse payment. The Thai Hospitel Scam is around 6,000$ per victim, and there are many victims.
