Hi folks. I am planning to go to Savennakhet at the end of October, to renew my 12 month l multi entry marrage visa. Could you please let me know what documents I will need to take. I have a rough Idea of what I will need. I don't want to get there, and find I have forgotten something. Do you have to show proof of funds. Any news on whether Thai consulate in Yangon require proof of funds. Many thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To renew your multi-entry marriage visa in Savannakhet, you will need the following documents: an application form with two photos, a signed copy of your passport, a signed copy of your spouse's ID card and passport, a signed copy of your spouse's house registration book, and copies of your marriage certificate (both original and UK version). No proof of funds is required for the Non-O Multi entry visa renewal.

Yep what Tod said ๐ If you time it right you can get around 15 months ๐
Make sure you double check you get the 90 days, I've got 30 once and didn't see it until I was through immigration ๐ Massive school boy error on my behalf ๐คฃ
People go to the thai consulate in Savannakhet to get a year-long, multi-entry Non-O visa based on marriage to a thai. That visa gets you stamped in for 90 days, when that time is running down you go to the border, stamp out of thailand, stamp in&out of another country and then stamp back into thailand to get another 90 day stamp. You can enter and exit thailand as much as you want for the validity of the visa itself (a year from the date they issue it) and you will always get stamped in for 90 days. you do NOT need a re-entry permit on this visa while it is still valid
