What are the requirements for obtaining and maintaining a 5-year DTV Visa through Thai cooking courses?

DTV is mostly about showing the 500k. I have one and will be exiting and re entering again in Feb. It will be interesting to see how the visa pans out over 5 years. I just renewed my car driving license with the dtv and got another 5 years.

Currently, this is only applicable for first-time applications. However, if you wish to extend your stay within the country, the course must remain active (and yes, we can help with DTV extensions). It is a 5 year visa. You only have to prove the qualifications the first time.

As long as you leave and return every 6 mos. no problems.

If you try and extend in country you will likely have to prove finances etc. again.

Every embassy sets their own requirements. The course has to be as long as the embassy you apply at requires it to be.
