Hoping for some helpful info!

I’m currently on a drill ship, offshore Oman. I have a baby boy coming on 5th April, if not before, so i’m looking at a dependent visa. Problem is, I need a health certificate to enter Thailand!

Does anyone know if something official from the ships doctor would be sufficient?  He is a qualified doctor

another thing to look into would be asking your company or even the client (they will have some more pulling power) to have you tested onshore before you fly. This could also open a can of worms for the 14 day quarantine tho. Tread carefully on that one. 2 weeks in a hotel then Thailand until this blows over is still better than months in sunny Scotland.

Barry is offshift and probably alseep at the moment. Im keeping updated on things here in Thailand for him. I also work offshore, if the Doc had the kit and he got tested and provided evidence that he is clear is there a time limit on how many days he would then have to enter Thailand?

Is he half Thai? Are you married to the wife?

That's correct. This health certificate is a new policy, and I'm not sure anyone is familiar with the specific requirements. It's past midnight, let's wait for the other mods to chime in.
