TLDR : Answer Summary
The DTV (Workcation-Remote Worker) Visa was successfully applied for and approved through the e-visa system. The applicant submitted various documents including bank statements proving passive income, a utility bill for proof of location, and a verification letter of income from their employer. The visa application process took approximately 2.5 weeks and cost $400 USD.
So you earned $2000 a month for the past 6 months and that was enough proof of funds? You didnโt have a total of 500,000 baht/ $15k in your bank for proof?
No contact for a financial blessing. I am a W-2 employee and also wanted to show the monthly passive income. I guess I could have submitted only the current month statements.
Got it. Thanks for the update. That's an amazing "relaxation" of the rule (when you consider people with brokerage accounts are being rejected at some embassies)
