Hi again all. I'm on a 1year non-O (based on marriage) and will be in Mae Sot in a couple of weeks. Planning to go across the border and back while I'm there to 'reset' my 90 days. Does anyone have any recent-ish experience of that crossing? Opening times / anything I have to pay etc? Thanks in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user on a Non-O visa (based on marriage) seeks advice on crossing the border at Mae Sot to reset their 90-day entry. Responses indicate it's a straightforward process, typically costing 500 baht or a pristine US $10 bill. The border operates from 6:30 AM to 9 PM with minimal wait times reported.

Easy border. No queues, no questions.

IO stamped me in for 60 days not 90, corrected it on the spot when I pointed it out to him.

First time I've seen a mistake made in 15 years but just goes to show you should always check!

No problem bouncing out and back in to activate a new 90 day entry on your existing Non-O multi-entry visa.

It costs 500 baht ( or a PRISTINE <- as in MINT condition US 10 dollar bill) to get stamped in and out of Myanmar.

The border is open 6:30am - 9pm
