Hi, guys! How does it work with a 14 day quarantine in this particular case?
Thinking of leaving Thailand. Iโm currently based in Chiang Mai, but the flight will be from Bangkok. So I will need to fly to Bangkok first and then get on my plane to another country there. Both flight are expected to be on the same day. So what about 14 day quarantine in this case?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion clarifies that there is no quarantine required for domestic travel from Chiang Mai to Bangkok. Multiple comments confirm that travelers can fly from Chiang Mai to Bangkok without quarantine, even when catching international flights on the same day. It is suggested to check with the airline for specific travel arrangements.
If you book both flights on 1 ticket, with both boarding passes and through-checked baggage, you'll be fine - even if the rules change.

Contact the airline operating the flight from Chiang Mai (CNX), as others will be on it.

Think you response is wrong quote and look Foreign nationals will undergo 14 days of mandatory state quarantine at a government-designated facility, or a facility under the Ministry of Public Health supervision at their own expense.

perhaps you can get your boarding pass for the international flight in advance, and be 'in transit' instead of actually entering Bangkok (if it's the same airport)?
i think Nick is saying that if you choose to be in transit, there is no risk of quarantine in BKK. Fly CM to BKK and get out from there with 'connecting flights' = no problem
The 15 days of mandatory state quarantine only applies to people arriving to Bangkok while overseas. Domestic travel into Bangkok does not require quarantine
