I had to go across to Savannakhet on Tuesday to get a new visa. I got to the Embassy at 7am and I was 13th in line at that time. By 9am there was around 300 people was the estimated guess. So if you need to go there I suggest you get in early.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Visiting the Savannakhet Embassy for a visa can involve long wait times. A post shares the experience of arriving at 7 am and finding themselves as the 13th person in line, with an estimated 300 people by 9 am. Commenters suggest that going early can help avoid long waits. One mentions that arriving at 3 pm meant no waiting, while another shares that despite being number 193, the service was efficient as long as paperwork was in order.
if you turn up at 3pm you would be four hours late they close gates at 11am
