My yearly  visa expires next month 10th of February going to exit from Bangkok where is the best  borders I can do for visa stamp. Also is there a problem taking my Thai friend to  come with me  she  doesn't have a vaccine. Please advise  thanks

Vaccination is no longer required to enter Thailand. The temporary rules that were introduced last week only to be scrapped only applied to foreign nationals and for arrivals by air anyway. Thais were never affected.

You can take your unvaccinated Thai friend to Malaysia, Laos or Cambodia very easily. I'd recommend Laos or Cambodia.

Again, not clear. What kind of "Retirement Visa" -- O-A, O, LTR ? If O-A, and 1-yr validity just ending, yes you can get re-stamped for another 1-yr (not new Visa). If O-A, and already used re-entry stamp, yes you can leave and try to apply for new one. OR, you could leave, and re-enter Visa Exempt and then change/convert to Non-O Retirement inside Thailand, and 1-yr Extensions thereafter. If already on a Non-O with 1 yr Extension, you do not leave, you just keep extending. Kindly provide better details, and you might get better advice.

She still has not clarified what "Visa" she is extending. So, not sure what it is. Obviously, Brandon is correct IF it is actually an Extension of an existing Visa (O or O-A). But, really don't know what she means.
