Can anyone recommend an agent that I can open a Thai bank account with my new DTV visa? I’m based in hua hin, but can go to BKK or pattaya to get this done

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around finding an agent to assist with opening a Thai bank account for someone holding a DTV visa. Recommendations include local visa agents in Hua Hin such as Anna Visa and warnings about new regulations that complicate the process. Some commenters suggest trying to handle it directly with local banks after obtaining necessary documents like a residence certificate and TM30. There are mixed opinions, with some agents being labeled as potentially untrustworthy, urging the person to proceed with caution.
Not gonna happen new regulations the 17th even agents will not try to do it for you
The government has cracked down
Look at agents Facebook pages they say not happening
Anyone saying they can is probably just gonna rob you and say whoops we tried

I recommend you try it yourself where you are first. Go to immigration and get a residence certificate (you will probably also need a TM30 for this) then visit a few banks and ask them.
l understand the question but it's about opening a bank account. Why go straight to an agent try yourself first. I never had an issue opening a bank account just gave them the correct paperwork took about an hour. I wouldn't pay an agent when it ain't that hard
