Asking for a friend: Pakistani passport holder who is an Australian PR living in Sydney. He is currently on holidays in Pakistan now until 5 May. Should he apply for a Thai Visa in Pakistan or wait till he goes back to Sydney ?

In Pakistan. Presumably, he'd be flying via Bangkok to get back to Sydney anyway. THAI flies from 3 Pakistani cities to Bangkok, which are only around 4 hours away.
