TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster inquired whether Thailand is still granting 60-day COVID extensions for tourists, having previously extended their stay. Comments suggest that 60-day extensions are still possible but are given on a case-by-case basis, depending on the discretion of the immigration officer. Discussions also include the process of entering Thailand again after a brief exit and the related documentation required for visa extensions.
You can, but you need to meet the requirement to enter Thailand as of the entry date such as a Thailand pass, etc. (The detail of entry requirements is out of this group's scope.)
60 days still being given out on a case by case basis

you came here as a tourist 😮
Did you buy a real tourist visa from the thai consulate in your country before you winged your way here and when you arrived you were stamped in for 60 days?
OR
Did you come here without any visa in your passport and were stamped in for free for 30 days on the visa exempt entry program when you arrived?
I'm asking because which way you entered controls where you go to get your extensions 🙂 (whether you use the main immigration office at Chaengwattana or the new location at IT Square Laksi Plaza)
