Hi! Quick Question. Me and my girlfriend are currently in Thailand and going to Kuala Lumpur to get 2 month tourist visa. We have plan to stay for 3 months with 1 month extension. Is it okay to book a flight 3 months later from entering Thailand and show it to Consulate and Immigration? Did this question make sense? ๐

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquiring about the possibility of booking a flight three months after entering Thailand to show at the consulate while applying for a two-month tourist visa in Kuala Lumpur. Several commenters provide insights on the necessary requirements for obtaining the visa, including the importance of showing proof of onward travel, and the different requirements based on the applicant's country of origin.
Make sure you have the check list page and absolutely everything ...I just received mine...I leave Kuala Lumpur tomorrow...I asked for a 60 day....they gave me 90...yeah
correct, you enter the country BEFORE the 'valid until' date to get stamped in for 60 days (which is what ALL tourist visas get you stamped in for). IF you try to enter thailand after that date the visa is no good and you'd have to get a new visa.
Still it gives you THREE months to enter the country.
Most consulates that require proof of onward travel will allow it when it's 90 days out.
Make SURE you check the requirements for tourist visas at KL. They are a no nonsense consulate and you either tick all the boxes as far as the requirements or you don't get the visa

It is one of the easy ones. Checklist is published on their website, you can print out, check the boxes, sign it. When there hand over all the papers and pick up the Visa next day. No surprise in requirements.
