Anyone booked train tickets through DTicket (State Railway of Thailand)... Is this the official Thailand Railway company or just an agent? Never used it before, or is it better using Baolau?

TLDR : Answer Summary
DTicket is an official booking platform for the State Railway of Thailand, as confirmed by users who have utilized the service. While some users reported positive experiences booking tickets through DTicket on the official railway website, others mentioned alternative services like 12go that offer ticket purchasing assistance. Users suggested that tickets can also be bought directly at train stations, especially for sleeper trains which may fill up quickly.
in the past I used 12go. They have an office across the street. Somebody runs over to the station and buys the tickets for you... Not great for last minute but otherwise pretty good.

Not recently.

I purchased a ticket last month using Dticket, overnight first class sleeper. The website was railway.co.th. I had no problems at all.

Fyi, you can buy tickets for any train journey at any trainstation.
NB sleeper trains are often booked up well in advance
