Hi everyone, 

I have just recently been registered at Siam Technology College. I am in the process of switching from a tourist visa to an ED visa. 

The college has asked me to repport my bangkok address or get a TM30 form in order to proceed with my ED visa. 

However, I have a Nonthaburi address. So I am a little confused as to how I go about getting my TM30. 

Since I have a Nonthaburi address does that mean I will need to switch from a tourist visa to an ED visa at the Nonthaburi Immigration?

Also, is it okay to do ED visa extensions at Bangkok Immigration even though I have a Nonthaburi address.

Word of warning, about 2 months ago Nonthaburi were not letting you self file a TM30 even with the correct paperwork. They insisted the owner had to go there. Not sure if this situation has changed, maybe someone has some more up to date information

Do the Tm30 in Nonthaburi (or have your landlord do it), make sure to get the slip. Do everything else in Bangkok since your school is in Bangkok. There is no problem, as it's very common to live in a different province to where you study or work.
