Hello, I'd like to ask a few questions :) I have a work permit & an extension of stay, both valid until Feb 2021. I'll go back to my home country soon and therefore planning on getting a re-entry permit - I'll continue working online for my employer though. I don't know when I'll come back to Thailand yet so could I also give back my work permit in my home country at a Thai Embassy when it expires? Do I have to cancel my work permit while I'm still in Thailand? Can I just leave Thailand with a re-entry permit or do they potentially wanna see more documents like tax stuff at the airport? Thank you in advance! :)

If it was me, I'd say take the work pemit with you and if you don't get back before it runs out just mail it back to your employer..

Yep, get a re-entry permit BEFORE you stamp out and it will keep your extension valid in case you come back before it expires
