Good evening all. I would like to get advice about how to prolong my stay. Currently I'm on a tourist visa valid until September 14th but my stamp is valid until September 6th, so I don't know/not sure if I have to extend my visa or apply for a new one? I'm new to all this, that's why I'd like to get advice on this. I have been told about border runs or that I might step out of Thailand but I'm not sure and I wouldn't like to risk without knowing first.
Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks advice on how to prolong their stay in Thailand, as their tourist visa is valid until September 14, but their stamp is only valid until September 6. They are new to the visa process and consider options like extending the visa or doing a border run, and they request clarity on their situation.
Sorry, had to remove the comments about the types of visas on MFA. Totally went away from the original topics. (and some pages are a mess, unfortunately)
Check the basic information about the visa types that are available at Embassies/consulates on MFA from the top link on MFA website. Consular Service -> Thailand Visa information. Check the details on the website where you are going to apply for your visa.
And if you want to ask related to that, please make a new post with a specific question.
Thank you, everyone.

With a Tourist Visa you can apply once for a 30 day Extension of Stay at your local Immigration Office.
If you wish to prolong your stay longer than you may apply for a conversion into a Non Immigrant visa if you can meet any of the requirements.
that's not what I am talking about. I am talking about the MFA website which is incomplete, as it doesn't list every visa type that is available. The header says "Visa Types" but they are missing out 80% of them. And the "Non-Imm-O retirement Visa" has disappeared from the websites of the Ho Chi Minh and Penang consulates. . . I suspect that a change is underway. Have you listened to "Big Joke" recently?
Then you will use CW CHAENGEWATTANA THAI IMMIGRATION OFFICE.... As you entered Thailand with a Thai Tourist Visa.

THESE are the common found requirements for the 30 days extension of stay at your local Thai Immigration office for 1900 Thai baht. Be sure you have a TM30 address registration filed with Thai Immigration.
