Need some advice. Can I get my 30day visa extended to 60day in Bangkok airport? I got stopped on the way for having no return ticket and had to purchase a bus ticket out of Thailand before the 30days before they would let me on the plane. Now I’m panicking.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about extending their 30-day visa in Bangkok, expressing concern after being stopped for not having a return ticket. Commenters clarified that extensions must be done at the Immigration Office in Bangkok, not at the airport, and mentioned that visa exempt entries can be extended without the need for onward travel.
you are confusing the requirement of the airline you used to come here on's policy of proof of onward travel if you're flying in visa exempt (without having a valid visa for thailand in your passport) and what happens once you're here.
You will not be asked for proof of onward travel when stamping into the country OR when getting a 30 day extension at the immigration office.
the immigration office isn't going to ask for proof of onward travel, you need copies of the relevant pages in your passport, a filled out application and a passport sized photo.
It costs 1900baht

Yeah that’s what I mean the visa exempt. Will they not also ask for onward travel? And do I need photographs? Or do I just pay the cash? Thanks
