TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking the web address to apply for a 60-day tourist visa to Thailand, emphasizing their British citizenship and residency in Spain. The community responds with a link to the Thai e-visa website and discusses the limitations of applying online due to UK nationality while residing in another country. Detailed advice is provided regarding necessary documents and alternative suggestions such as opting for a 30-day exemption stamp upon arrival or engaging in a visa run. Specific experiences of other users with the visa application process and options for extending stay in Thailand are also shared.
I think it is better to do a visa run, and if you want you could stay in Thailand up to 6 month, with a tourist visa you can extend 2 times only so you can only stay 4 months
after 6 months, if still want to renew what can one do? If stay out of country for a week or 2 then come back or they still won’t let you?

Hi Brian ... I m Italian ( Italian Passport ) resident in the NL 30 years already ... I do apply online in the NL for six months multiple entry visa, 200 bucks give or take ... no problem ... most of the time 4 or 5 days, done ... stay in TH up to six months I do all the time, got one just last May ... I don t know where you stay in TH but in Phuket, if you find someone good mooded at the IM OFFICE Phuket Town, you don t even need to get out of the country ... happened to me twice 🙂 ... good luck
Good luck with that! I was in same situation. You can’t apply for e-visa as you’re a UK National with a Spanish residency. You will have to go to the Thai embassy in Madrid in person or send all docs to them by courier. Remember you must have a Notarized copy of your passport and original as well as a Notarized copy of your Residence card. I suggest you just gat the 30 day exemption stamp on arrival then renew
I tried last year on line and couldn’t and I’m not sending all my stuff to Madrid, no way. So I shall do what I did at the beginning of this year and get my 30 stamp and go to the immigration office for n Samui and extend for a another 30 days.
