Hey guys,

I plan to go to Chiang Mai soon, and I need to apply for a visa.

I would like to stay 3 months. I heard you can apply for 60 days and then extend. Do I have to do a visa run?

Plus, where can I apply for the visa? I heard it can be done online, but so far, everything I found is a bit confusing.

I am from the Czech Republic.

You apply for the Single Entry Tourist Visa at the Thai Embassy, Czech republic is not yet allowed to use the on line application system.

With this visa you get 60 days of stay on arrival and you can extend this once with another 30 days at the local Immigration Office.
