Hi, a friend of mine is contemplating purchasing the elite visa, if he goes ahead with it, will this allow him entry into the kingdom quicker than the general public? Please simply reply with either "yes" or "no". Thanks

As of now, holding an Elite Visa does not allow for quicker entry into Thailand compared to the general public, as applications for entry are still being denied by Thai embassies and consulates for Elite Visa holders.

AT THIS TIME <- meaning right now today it will NOT. While in theory the Elite Visa holders have been approved to apply for entry to thailand the thai embassies and consulates are still denying Elite card holders applications for entry.

So the answer now is NO holding an elite card ain't gonna get him in any faster yet... :(
