Uk male. 64 years old. Semi-retired. Have necessary funds in bank. Have 2 part-time jobs for Thai companies in UK but combined salaries only £500 per month. Easy enough to get contracts of employment. Anyone know if the size of salary is taken into consideration when applying for DTV. Thank you

Best just go soft route, anyone can learn muay Thai or cooking ... Leave off your employment all together ... Fight EVO360 Thailand - Thepprasit Boxing Stadium Sharon has all relevant paperwork, and cheaper to get this visa over the retirement visa.

🤣🤣 I'm 64. Couldn't fight my way out of a paper bag. To me the whole DTV is bit of a sham. Who's going to learn cookery or Muay Thai for 5 years

No income requirement. The 500k is the only monetary factor. You state Thai companies. Are they legal entities in the UK ie Ltd companies registered there? You cannot work for Thai companies registered in Thailand on the DTV

Anonymous participant Absolutely fine. Pals doing same. Just having letters from the Directors ( themselves) writing letters on company headed paper saying they can work remotely from Thailand. Adding tax returns etc will help

Salary doesn’t matter, if you’ve got the 500k equivalent in your uk bank account can one of your employers write you a short letter stating that some of your work can be done remotely? Thats what I did through London embassy.

cheers. The DTV would suit me medium term. Just started a relationship with a Thai lady. Been 3 times this calendar year, 3 weeks each time. Intend to go in March for 45 days but there's a lot of 'noise' on other forums about abuse of current 60 day (+30 day) on entry. DTV seems a solution

Anonymous participant I think you will be fine on Visa Exempt etc the times you are going. I did it for almost 18 months back in

and it was harder then. I mixed a couple of SETV's in. Pals I mentioned in other answer were going to spend about 6 months each UK and TH on spouse visas but think the DTV is more convenient if not here full time. If you really do not want to do any "Remote" work the "O" Retirement is an easy option.

Salary is irrelevant check what the criteria required in the embassy that you apply also the option that you will apply. Then you can compile the documents to submit online. Check in the search bar in this forum
