Does a new 90-day report override an old one after moving addresses in Thailand?

When I moved addresses and went to do my tm30 for some reason they gave me a new 90 day report also (I think they didn't see the old one inside my passport and gave me a row but not a fine when they handed my passport back with the new one). I was just going to go tomorrow (my original date)  incase I need to, but now I'm really busy and it would really be preferable not to. Is it safe to assume the new one overrides the old one and I can just go on that date. Yes, I should have asked at the time but I was confused about what they were telling me at the time, took me until I left and looked inside the passport to fully realise what they had done.

7 days, if you go over that it's 2000 Baht.

A cynic might suggest that once you reach day 8 then there's no reason at all to go to immigration until your visa needs extending because it's going to be 2000 Baht if it's 8 days or 300 days

You already know this, but always ask questions or clarify anything there and then. For instance I did a 90-days report last week and told them I had done a TM30 at the same time, showing my TM30 printed out. I’m pretty sure she was going to do a routine 90-day report before I told he the address had changed. Either explain in basic English or learn the basic Thai for what you want to communicate 😊

I just removed a very bad comment about the TM30. The TM30 MUST BE filed no later then one business day after moving into a location. If the TM30 is not filed, then the fine will be 800 THB (for Bangkok), 1,600 THB (elsewhere), and no more than 2K THB.

If one HAS to file it by postal mail, does a self-addressed envelope with (how much in) postage be included? I failed to find that info online.

I had submitted my fully TM30 dossier by paper as the app was/is (partially) broken and after a month it returned with “document missing”. I’m wondering now if they meant a self-addressed envelope.

Different immigration offices have different policies about doing the TM30 by mail. Some allow it, some don't. ASK the local immigration office IF they accept a TM30 by mail, and if so, the value of the included postage for the self-addressed envelop.

Don't let their bad attitude get in the way with you knowing what it is you did and what you got back from them :P :) LOOK at your passport and any papers you got BEFORE you walk away from their desk and if you don't understand ASK them

They weren't rude just told me I should have done a 90 day report already and they'll let me off this time, I was just confused because I'd already done it. Anyway they've accidentally done me a favour I think! Thanks for the advice and my question is answered :)

it's quite strange they'd say anything about your 90 day report with a receipt of having done one and the next one not even due when you went to file a new TM30 because you moved :/

I'd keep both receipts but I wouldn't bother reporting again until the date the one in July says to report on.

That red stamp on the bottom right of the TOP 90 day report receipt is only put on there when your extension is expiring before the next 90 day report due date.

When does your current extension expire? (Is it 25 Jul?)
