Hello

I returned to Thailand on a retirement visa with multi re-entry permit which expires April 2025. My address has changed but I am still in the same city where I received my retirement visa. 

Do I or my landlord need to file a TM 30? I have been back a few weeks but have been traveling.

Both a New TM47 from the owner filed with Thai Immigration as he has changed address with new property owner and a TM30 address registration.

, Why is TM47 from the owner of the property? TM47 is a form for a 90-day report, it's supposed to be prepared by a foreign applicant. Never heard that a 90-day report requires anything from the property owner other than a TM30 receipt.

that is what I thought...but Thai Immigration office in Jomtien required a new TM47 even though we had filed it years ago. My property owner who was also filing the 99 day report for me, had to Return to the house and make copies of the property documents.Of course the 90 day report was made as required.

, don't you mix TM47 with TM30 or other form, such as TM28 or any? TM47 is 90 days report, and it's supposed to be submitted every 90 days, "years ago" doesn't work for TM47.

, what i'd like to know is how the landlord/property owner (could be a foreigner, but in most cases Thai) can fill TM47 form. I don't mean I doubt you did.

You will need to file a new TM30 as this will be needed when doing your 90 day report which needs to be done in person when arriving back in Thailand.

well that is NOT what Thai Immigration office in Jomtien required last week when I filed a 90 day report, they also required a New TM47 FROM the property owner be filed. I was surprised as I have been on retirement extension for several years at the same address. I had traveled to the USA for a month prior to this 90 days report.
