Can I ask another question about TM30?

If we live in Chiang Mai and want to travel within the province - e.g., just spend a weekend in a resort, and they register us - what happens then? 

Theoretically, we don't need to update our TM30 as it's within the province, right?

At the same time, friends are telling me that we will still need to update the TM30, as "the system will automatically change the last address tothat night in the resort, and since then you are not registered anywhere". Could you shed some light on the matter, please?

ASK YOUR LOCAL IMMIGRATION OFFICE WHERE YOU ARE REGISTERED WHAT ARE THEIR REQUIREMENTS FOR THE TM30.

i can only say as far as known Chang Mai only want update of the registration if you've been abroad. But i'm not your friend, just a stranger on Facebook, so best is to ask Immigration office yourself.
