Friend of mine with NZ passport travelling to Thailand next month. He has an METV. Last trip in he was hauled aside at Suvarnabhumi and given the big talk to, grilling session.

Now, he also wants to visit Lao for a week on his travels so I suggested he fly into Vientiane from KL, spend the week there sightseeing then enter Thailand via Nong Kai, bypassing SB. Would that work ? Thank you.
