Has anyone tried using an official balance letter from your bank as a replacement for an official statement?

I'm traveling to Taipei on Monday to apply, but found out today that my official monthly statement (for September) might not arrive until the end of next week.

Unfortunately, my most recent official statement (from August) does not have the 500K. I transferred it in several weeks ago.

I do not. The money was transferred from an investment account that does not generate traditional statements. I may have to wait until the end of the week when my official statement arrives. I was was just hoping to apply sooner and that someone had luck using an official balance letter in lieu of not having an official statement.
