TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the status of their e-visa and whether they can travel to Thailand on a visa on entry from the UK. Comments clarify that UK passport holders qualify for a visa exemption allowing a 30-day stay, extendable for another 30 days for a fee. An important requirement is obtaining a Thailand Pass. Discussions also highlight the necessity of having an onward ticket for airlines, with suggestions on suitable destinations and the general acceptability of one-way onward tickets.
I been saying in these groups this was gonna be the real issue for some, consulates suddenly overwhelmed with visa requests all over the world.
My plan is to use my exemption and buy an onward flight if I need to.
Remember no land border runs and flying out and coming back after 60 days is gonna be a real bitch man. My trip is 90 days.

same situation, fly tomorrow. I gather from other posts it's safer to rent an onward ticket within the 30 days if going visa exempt instead of 60 day tourist visa
I have had a read of this so if I buy a flight from Thailand to say Cambodia and a return flight the next day will this be sufficient do you think. ๐ค
