Hey 😄 I’m a British UK passport holder but I flew in from Australia on 9th March (on tourist visa). I have managed to get a job as a teacher, and I am awaiting my certificates to arrive so I can sort my work visa. The school have told me I will have to travel to Loas to complete the visa, could you give me any advice and do you think it will be possible to still travel with the current coronavirus situation? Thank you for your advice. Am I still able to travel to Loas during the covid19 issue? And does anybody know the likelihood of Thailand going into lockdown as I wouldn’t want to be then stuck in Loas

I just came across this article on a post below. The part about "Travellers from countries with on-going local transmissions" seems to refer to where people have arrived from rather than their nationality. Australia isn't on the list (yet!) so you should be fine......I know our situations aren't identical, but they are similar. I'll let you know if they ask me to self-quarantine or I have any issues when I pop up to Nong Khai tomorrow :) ......

1. You can go to Laos

2. I can not imagine a situation where a person with a valid visa is not allowed inside Thailand

The school has to request the visa from the consulate, and they are the experts on the consulate to use

Go to Savannaket in Laos. Malaysia is not an option at this time.
