@[Michael Marlborough]([members only]) posted I have a year-multi-Non-O Visa that ends in Oct. Do I have to leave and go back to the USA and get another year (same visa) or can I get same from Thai consulate in Vietnam?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired whether they need to return to the USA to renew their year-multi-Non-O Visa, which expires in October, or if they can obtain a new one from a Thai consulate in Vietnam. Responses highlighted the importance of the 90-day entry stamp expiration and suggested waiting for the borders to open to apply for a similar visa at nearby consulates.

I usually go back to the US in the summer to visit family but not going this year. Hopefully I can get the same visa in Vietnam.

your big concern now is when your current 90 day entry stamp expires as that's what's gonna throw you off the rails.
AND seeing as your current visa doesn't expire until October I'd say wait and see when the borders open and then go to one of the consulate nearby that will issue a year-long, multi-entry Non-O visa based on marriage (Savannakhet Lao, Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam, etc)
