Can I Extend My Non-B Visa or Should I Exit Thailand for a 60-Day Visa?

Remember if you are going to leave the country and apply for a 60 day tourist visa you need to go to the Ministry of Labour and cancel your work permit, THEN take that and your termination paperwork to the immgiration office and officially cancel your Non-B extension.

THEN you can stamp out and go get a different visa. Remember just stamping out of the country does NOT officially cancel an extension at the immigration office and IF you're ever going to work here in thailand again it can cause you problems (and fines) down the road. Believe me GO cancel the extension you're on before you leave to get a new visa.
