Hello,

I have a DTV. I will be in Ubon Ratchatani soon and Laos is just a short drive away.

Is there any issue driving over the border and back to refresh my 180 days?

Thanks 🙏🏼

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post inquires about the possibility of driving from Ubon Ratchathani to Laos to refresh the 180-day stay on a DTV visa. Responses indicate that crossing the border is generally acceptable and upon returning to Thailand, a new 180-day stamp will be issued.

I plan go to Mukdahan/Savannakhet next year to renew my 180 days. I hope there will be okay too. In my opinion I think it's good stay few days in Laos for the visa run. In the past I usually went to Vientiane for visa runs.
