Hi everyone,

Next month Iโ€™ll go to Chaengwattana to do the 90-day report for my husband and I, I know I can do it for him as long as I have his passport.

Is it the same for re-entry permit? We will go to France in July, I was wondering if the same rule applies? I might as well do it all the same day if confirmed.

Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired if they could apply for a re-entry permit for their husband while also handling his 90-day report at Chaengwattana. A comment clarified that while anyone can submit a 90-day report for someone else, the passport holder must be present to obtain a re-entry permit. It was suggested to try for the re-entry permit and if unsuccessful, the husband could acquire it himself or at the airport.

Good to know as my mobility is worsening, though good to get out

You are correct anyone can do a 90 day report for someone,

BUT

As a rule the passport holder has to be present to get a re-entry permit.

I don't think they'll sell you one for his passport without him there.

Try it, worst they will say is no, and then he can either go out there and get one on his own or he can get his at the airport when you fly out
