I am currently in a 1 year Multiple Visa Non-0 based on marriage with a Thai spouse. (valid until 1st week of June 2020).
I would like to check if is possible to apply for a 1 year Multiple Visa Non-B Business before my current Visa expires.
My intention is to apply for a Non-B Business Visa end of April during my time in my home country (Spain), and back to Thailand in May (with the Visa Non-0 still valid).
I am not sure if is possible to get a Visa when you still have a valid Visa in your passport.
* In case this is possible, when I arrive in Thailand with 2 different valid Visa, are both Visa working or Non-0 is cancelled?
Thanks in advance for your help, have a nice evening ahead ๐

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is currently holding a Multiple Non-O Visa based on marriage and is inquiring if they can apply for a Non-B Business Visa while their current visa is still valid. They want to know if having two valid visas in their passport is permissible and what would happen to the Non-O Visa if they proceed with the new application.

if you are on a year-long, multi-entry Non-O visa that was based on marriage AND you got divorced that doesn't affect the visa one tiny bit :O Even if the reason you got the visa changes (meaning you got it based on marriage but are now divorced) you can still use the visa until it runs out getting 90 day entry stamps off it.
Good Luck.

No, it is not OK, sorry but officially you can not have two valid Visa's for Thailand in one passport.
If you apply at the same Consulate that issued the Non Immigrant O visa for your new Non Immigrant B visa, you can ask if they want to cancel/revoke the Non Immigrant O visa,
That you got divorced makes no difference for the visa, it is issued and it stays valid and can be used until the valid until date mentioned on the visa.

Ok, so you're moving back to Spain and only make short business visits. No problem, good luck
fyi...I was only acknowledging that he was divorced when I said OK.. Sorry for the confusion I may have created. And Thank you for your helpful advice to the OP ๐

The Thai Embassy in Madrid only offers the Single Entry Non Immigrant B visa.
You can ask if you apply at the same consulate, HCMC is not in Spain, but nothing to lose by asking. Only if you are the managing director with a work permit for minimum 8 months validity you can get a 1 year Non Immigrant B visa, but then you have to do the 90 day border runs.
Better is to get the Non Immigrant B visa, come to Thailand, get the 90 days and after 60 days apply for a 1 year Extension of Stay, in stead of border runs you report at immigration. When this is stamped in your passport you apply for the re-entry permit and you an travel when you like and keep this year of stay alive
totally clear I cant apply for Non-B when my current Visa still valid.
My doubt now is, could I cancel my Non-0 Visa in the Thai Embassy in Spain and apply for the Non-B? or must be in the same Consulate (HCMC) where I got the Visa?
The intention to apply in Spain is because I did in the past with 0 issues, not sure if others Thai embassies or consulates in Asia would accept 1 year multiple Non-B Business Visa with Spanish nationality.
Then, I could apply after June when Non-0 Visa expires.
Any Thai embassy or consulate in Asia, where I could apply for a 1 year multiple Non-B Business Visa?
