TLDR : Answer Summary
A foreigner (farang) on a marriage visa in Thailand can face challenges when trying to switch to an education visa following a divorce. There are conflicting opinions regarding this process: one comment states that it's generally not possible to change from one non-visa to another within the country, while another suggests that it is feasible. Therefore, it's advisable to consult with immigration authorities for specific guidance.

I believe it is possible to change the reason for your extension of stay between marriage and employment. Not sure about education though
