TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, a foreigner can fly domestically in Thailand even if their passport has less than 6 months left until expiration. There are no restrictions for domestic flights regarding passport validity, and it is not necessary to show a passport for such travel; alternative forms of identification like a driver's license can be used.

A foreigner can even enter Thailand with less than 6 months on their passport. It's the airlines that won't let you travel internationally with less than that. There's no 6 month restriction inside the country.

immigration will not allow entry to thailand if you have less than 6 months on your passport its the Law in thailand

I have entered Thailand with less than 6 months remaining passport validity on numerous occasions.

@Wayne ******
that's incorrect. The ONLY Thailand 6 month rule is that you cannot purchase a visa if you have less than 6 months left on your passport.
