Bangkok Cha-Da Hotel offers guests a variety of recently refurbished rooms. The hotel is located on Ratchadapisek Road near the Huay Kwang subway station. The MRT subway system, which connects with the BTS skytrain, is a 3 minute walk from the hotel allowing guest to travel to most places of interest for both business and leisure in a very short time. The Queen Sirikit Convention Center, Sukhumvit Road, Silom Road, and the weekend market can easily be accessed via the underground system. After a hectic day spent working or sightseeing, guests can enjoy a refreshing dip in the rooftop outdoor pool. Bangkok Cha-Da Hotel offers excellent value to guests visiting the 'City of Angels'.

4.2 Superior Room ( Double or Twin )

  • The hotel is old but big room and good service

Overall was okay but it would be better if bed good quality and not too hard, we were waiting long time to have Covid test, the hotel should separate guest but all the guests came to test in the same time

  • Door not sound proof. I could here everything from the corridor.

In general it's ok especially with this price (4000 thb). I could stay there again. One thing I found weird was that I was charged 50 thb to have my Grab food order delivered from hotel lobby to my room. Never been charged such fee in other hotels.

  • Some staff are a bit unfriendly and don’t speak English well, results for PCR take a bit longer than other hotels (7-8h) due to fixed test timings. Food is decent but comes cold.

Good enough for a one-day quarantine but I wouldn’t recommend staying here for the whole duration of your trip. There are better hotels if you’re willing to pay more, and some which give you your PCR results quicker so that you can check out earlier.

Wrong arranged airport transfer to hotel, my flight arrived at DMK airport, but the hotel arranged my pick up at BKK Airport.

1 day before traveling date, I got email from hotel (res@bangkokchadahotel.com) to confirmed my airport transfer service. I found that pick up point was wrong airport, then I replied the email included my flight, ETA, and airport of arrival, but no any response from the hotel.

4 hours before arrival, I call to hotel contact no.+6622900170 to confirmed the airport transfer, the guy who answer my call not even know about the issued, after 2mins of conversation, he promised me to re-arranged the pick up point.

Arrived at airport transfer meeting point. my name not in the list of Cha-Da hotel passengers, again I call +6622900170 to informed what happened, another 3mins of conversation the hotel told me they will contact the driver for me.(Didn't happen)

I spend 45mins wait for hotel airport transfer agent to booked a taxi(from external) and another 15 mins drive to the hotel.

The food is the same quality you would expect in a food court. Definitely not bad and all freshly cooked. The hotel was flexible with me and my partner arriving at different times and different airports. Transportation from airport was perfect.

Communication could be better. My partner didn’t receive any food until I got in by 8pm. The next day we had to be at our next accommodation by a certain time for check in and barely made it because the front desk didn’t phone us back with PCR results. In the end we decided to just wait in the lobby so we could leave as soon as they got lab results. Turns out they had it all along and gave us the results upon check out…

All in all, fine for just one night!

  • my room has a big glass window which makes quarantine not suffocating… also, they take feedback and customer care seriously. One time I complained about my food and then they responded to it right away by giving me more and new food!

From the airport to the hotel, the staff are very nice! Service & food are good, hotel room is comfy, overall great. Not that strict when you go out of your hotel room ( when I would go down for my rt-pcr test, there are no staff that asked me where I was going or why did i come out of my room or maybe they all just assumed I was going out for the rt-pcr, idk. 8 days and 7 nights there is worth the money you pay for.

I had a pleasant stay at Bangkok Cha-da Hotel. It was New Year's Eve. On the struck of midnight i can see fireworks all around. I was on the 1 night Test & Go scheme. The PCR result came out -ve the next morning and I was good to go. Very nice AQ hotel. Value for money.

  • Staff didn't inform me of my PCR negative until I went to Reception to ask.

Staff should inform guests immediately when they receive guests' PCR results. PPE (just mask) was not worn by any staff at reception when I went down by myself to ask for result. I work about Covid testing in UK and this hotel was not up to standard. As for food, staff never knocked my door to inform me that meal was outside. Food was cold. I like noodles but I was offered noodles for lunch and again noodles for dinner. The takeaway noodles. Need more diversity.

I would suggest to give meal based on country where the guest come from. Wifi disconnected frequently

  • Nice, friendly, and helpful staff.

  • Knocking the door too loud when the daily meal arrived. Might make you feel a little upset.
  • The extra service charge for bringing food from the lobby to your room every time. I mean, it should be included in the QUARANTINE package as you can't get out to pick it yourself.
  • Only 1 hr allowance to get out of your room( for fresh air in a normal temperature) for being in there with window locked for 10 days. Not suitable if you have an air allergy.

Overall nice hotel with good price. Just that extra charge I don't like. Comfortable bed and pillow. The food was nicely warm and fresh.
