Peter read my reply to Liam O’Connell- An Agent I am sure will sort it for you at a cost. However if you wanted to keep everything above board with no possible repercussions in the future for whatever reasons, I would just start again and do it legally, even if it means leaving the Country and returning and doing it all over again. Using an Agent to do a shonky fix could potentially leave you exposed. If you are not worried about the odds of running the gauntlet, use an agent. Cheers

Aussie bloke in Bangkok maybe 3 years ago give or take, spoke of the risks of using an agent. Yes, an accepted practice etc etc, however his cousin also aged in his 70’s, was using the Agent Method without the actual cash, he was married and had been living in Bangkok in his own Condo for 12 years. The Visa Company he was using got caught up in some separate investigation involving Police and Immigration. The Company was audited, and the cousins circumstances unfortunately came out in the wash, and he was deported, blacklisted never to return. Marriage and Condo gone aged in his 70’s. So unlucky for him and may never happen for others… maybe 🤔

Semantics Lloyd with the terminology! The post is obvious in its meaning to everyone except some people who are so pedantic and prefer to engage in replies like you instead of just answering the question. Retirement or over 50’s visa or what ever you want to pedantically call it, just read those people who answered the question without all the semantics and English interpretations etc, but just replied because they knew what the author intended with his post. Gee Lloyd, another reason I normally do not reply to people. Let my guard down with you sunshine!

I didn’t think my reply to you was rude, however… you have the word Moderator under your name 🤔

People can live there under a “Retirement Visa” and subsequent extensions- but still a retirement visa as stated in the post, and may never require a re entry permit. But when you decide to leave Thailand and come back you need to purchase either a single or a multi re entry permit valid for 12 months. The re entry permit is not an automatic right. If there on a retirement visa and or subsequent yearly extensions, everyone needs to have a re entry visa before you leave the country, and this is solely what the post is about. But you have a good night Lloyd 🙏

The App can only be used on one device! If it is your first device, you are still required to visit a Bank to set up the app. Might be questions asked setting up the app on a device with a different phone number associated with her account. Cheers

Regardless of what the Press said in their reports…the government proposals and changes also printed by the Press, stated the changes need to be approved and gazetted and late June July possibly at the earliest for said changes. People should not just read headlines or part of the story, and take responsibility for themselves to read a bit more and clarify the validity. All the information was given regardless of the headlines. Fancy turning up at the airport without clarification of something you had read in any newspaper anywhere in the world today 🤔🤔

Hey Neil, What implications for the tourist travel visa- no longer any 30 day restrictions and then unlimited stays? Or the travel comment is solely to do with Business Travel and activities? Cheers
