You can border run at any time. I’ve been to Vietnam and Laos on my 60 day visa exempt and when you return the 60 days start again

Or you could do a border hop

Cool. Seems a bit daunting at first but it’s all pretty straight forward. £65 for the criminal certificate. Does anyone know the actual cost of application in the UK and any costs related to the certificates

I’ve gone on the E visa official application website and on it I can apply for a long term retirement visa, with multiple entry

However, it asks for the following

1) Proof of permanent residency in the country where the application is submitted

2) Financial Evidence showing monthly income of no less than 65k or having a current balance 800k

3) Medical Certificate issued from country where the application is submitted showing no prohibited diseases as indicated in Ministerial Registration No14 BE2535

4)Health Insurance issued by Thai or Foreign insurers for general illness including COVID 19 with insured some of no less than 100k US or 3mill THB

5) Foreign Insurance Certificate as stipulated by the Office of Insurance Commission and Health Insurance of Thailand, which must be completed, signed and stamped by the insurance company. Form can be downloaded from

6) certificate of criminal record clearance from country where the application is submitted showing
