Hi folks,

I assume this has been asked/answered a number of times on here, but could anybody tell me how many times per year i can enter Thailand on visa exemption.

I flew in from the UK on visa exemption, then extended for 30 days. I just went to Malaysia and came back into Thailand on visa exemption and will once again extend.

Is that my limit, or can i do it once more?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Best,

Matt

Is it true concerning Visa Exempt 30 day visa

That they are limiting entries in a calendar year.

I have been traveling to Thailand — typically a couple trips a year =

I arrive and leave (no extensions) usually twice in a trip.

Example arrive January- stay 3 weeks+ and leave for a couple week trip somewhere else in SE Asia and then return to Thailand for another 3 weeks and the return to USA.

And then later in the year do a similar travel.

In the past it’s never been a problem =

I have Lots of “stamps” in my current passport.

My last trip was January & February— Thailand & Indonesia

Looking at August - October

Thailand & Vietnam

Hello, I'm pleased to have joined this gtoup & hope that someone can help me with a couple of questions.

If I go out of Thailand & return by train can I get a 30 day visa exemption?

Is there a limit to the number of times you can come into Thailand on a 30 day exemption?

Many thanks for any help

Regarding tourist visas:

I’ve seen this topic come up, but nobody provides sources for their answers. There are a lot of conflicting opinions from people.

What is the official rule on how many times someone can get a tourist visa? Is there a limit?

I found this source that says entry into the country BY AIR is unlimited, but it’s a “.com” website, not official government site.

Does anyone have a better source for answers?

Hi all, is the border bounce limit of twice per year based on your entry in the system or based on the stamps in your passport? Asking because I've done my 2 bounces already this year but I've recently gotten a new passport without any stamps. Much thanks!

Hi Lovely Folx,

Q about land border crossings- I did one Mukdahan/Savannakhet (RT) land border crossing and the other was Vientiane/Nongkhai (I flew into VTE). Am I allotted only 2 per calendar year? The immigration officer didn’t mention anything when I was stamped into Nong Khai & didn’t take a look over. FWIW, I’m on an American passport.

I plan on going to Malaysia via Pedang Besar fr Hat Yai, Will they stamp me back in or should I just plan on flying into Thailand via KL?

Many thanks💐💐💐

I have heard that there is a limit to two border runs per calendar year when using Tourist visas and/or stamps on arrival, but I cannot get it officially confirmed anywhere. Does anybody know what is true for this?
